The Story of Pastor David Tô

Born into a family that suffered severe persecution for their Christian faith, David experienced rejection and isolation from a young age. His father was imprisoned for his beliefs, and David faced ridicule for his faith. Growing up in poverty, David went through a period of rebellion, distancing himself from God. However, a life-changing accident during high school brought him back to faith. After a severe accident, doctors refused to treat him due to the family’s financial situation. Desperate, David cried out to God for a miracle, and during his darkest moment, he received a promise from God: “You will not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.”

David held onto this promise and, against all odds, was miraculously healed within three months. His healing was not only physical but also spiritual, as he was freed from the fear and rejection that had plagued him. David emerged from the ordeal stronger, both in body and faith, than ever before.

Following this miraculous experience, David’s life took a sharp turn towards ministry. He began to study the Bible with a burning passion, eager to serve God and share the gospel. He became active in evangelism, church planting, and caring for new believers. Despite facing severe persecution, including being beaten, imprisoned, and having his property confiscated multiple times, David’s faith remained unshaken.
By God’s grace, David has been able to persevere and continue his work in ministry. Today, he leads a network of underground churches and works to train and support ethnic communities in Central Vietnam.
