One of the best classrooms for your children is the Mission Field, where they can learn to step out of their peaceful and comfortable surroundings to reach out to those who are struggling, needy, and humble.
It is a place where they eat challenging food, sleep in difficult conditions, bathe in less-than-ideal settings, and use restrooms in challenging environments.
It is where they can, in some measure, feel God’s love for those less fortunate, where they can share what they have with others in need, reconnect with nature, and learn to shift their focus away from themselves.
It is a place where they can gain real-life lessons that cannot be learned from books.
May God raise up a next generation that captures His heart and fulfills His purposes in their time.
