Hồng Nhung was a successful businesswoman, blessed with wealth, a loving husband, and two children. She came from a family deeply rooted in Buddhist traditions, and though she had heard about Jesus before, she never paid much attention, as her life was busy and successful.

However, tragedy struck unexpectedly. During a family vacation, her husband was swept away by the sea while swimming, never to return. This devastating event shattered her world. She loved her husband dearly, and his loss left her in deep grief and hopelessness.
In the midst of her loneliness and despair, someone introduced her to Pastor David Tô’s church for prayer. Though hesitant, Hồng Nhung agreed to connect with the church. After hearing the Gospel, she prayed to accept Jesus into her life. Yet, her busy lifestyle kept her from fully committing to attending church and learning God’s Word. Despite this, Pastor David Tô and the church continued to faithfully pray for her.
During this time, Hồng Nhung began experiencing spiritual attacks. At night, she couldn’t sleep, and during the day, she was filled with fear. On several occasions, she was tormented by evil spirits in her sleep, and even had moments where she lost control and physically harmed her son before passing out. This torment persisted, leaving her in a state of overwhelming distress. A close friend urged her to reach out to Pastor David Tô for help, and she decided to follow the advice.
Through the pastor’s prayers and sharing of God’s Word, Hồng Nhung was delivered from the spiritual oppression. That very night, after returning home from the prayer session, she slept peacefully for the first time in a long time and experienced the profound peace of God. The evil spirits left her.
Filled with joy and gratitude, Hồng Nhung told her children about Jesus, and they too accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. She opened her home to invite Pastor David Tô and the church to come and study the Bible with her family.
Today, Hồng Nhung is actively participating in a discipleship program at her church, growing in her faith and trusting that God will continue to guide her as she serves Him faithfully.
