From Rejection to Redemption: Lien’s Journey to Freedom in Christ.

Lien was born and raised in Quang Binh, Central Vietnam, into a Buddhist and Communist family that was strongly opposed to Christianity. Her father longed for a son to continue the family’s ancestral worship, but her mother could only bear daughters. Lien was the third girl, and when she was born, her father reacted with anger, abandoning her and her mother at the hospital. Throughout her childhood, Lien faced rejection and emotional abuse from her family, leading her into deep depression. She often cried out for help, wondering if there was a God who could hear her.

Years later, as a university student, Lien met a Christian friend who shared the Gospel with her. Desperate for acceptance, she immediately embraced Jesus as her Savior, finally finding the love and hope she had longed for. However, even after becoming a Christian, Lien continued to struggle with feelings of insecurity, emotional wounds, and shame.

Through the ministry of Pastor David To, Lien experienced deliverance and healing. As she was discipled in the church and through prayer, her life underwent a complete transformation. She found her divine purpose in God and was set free from the bondage of her past.

Today, Lien is actively serving God in children’s ministry, sharing the Gospel with students, and discipling other women in Christ. She is a new creation, filled with joy and purpose, using her testimony to help others find freedom in Jesus.
