Cat’s Testimony

Cat’s journey is a powerful testimony of God’s healing and transformative power. Born into the Co Tu tribe in the high mountains, Cat lived in a world of darkness, violence, and heavy drinking, with no knowledge of God. For years, his life was marked by chaos and emptiness. One day, his brother, who had recently come to know Jesus, shared the message of the gospel with Cat. Though unfamiliar with God, Cat felt a deep stirring in his heart and opened himself up to the Lord.

After accepting Christ, Cat was still tormented by a strange sickness. His whole body constantly itched, and no matter what he tried, the discomfort persisted. He would scratch himself until he bled, hoping for relief, but the agony never subsided. Nights became sleepless and torturous. Desperate, he sought help from doctors, but they were baffled and offered no solutions.

One day, news spread that Pastor David To and his ministry team were visiting the village to pray for the sick. Filled with hope, Cat ran to meet them, desperate for healing. Pastor David To and his team prayed fervently for Cat, trusting in God’s power to heal. One month later, when the team returned, Cat joyfully testified that the sickness had completely left him and had not returned since. Now, two years later, Cat remains free from the illness.

Cat’s life has been radically transformed. He is no longer the violent man he once was. Today, he serves faithfully in his local church, caring lovingly for his wife, his 90-year-old mother, and regularly visiting the poor in his community. Cat’s story is a beautiful witness to how God not only heals physically but also brings lasting change to the heart. Through God’s grace, he has become a man of love, compassion, and service in the mountains of the Co Tu tribe.
