Tien’s Journey from Brokenness to Restoration

Tien’s life was once marked by deep struggles—he battled alcoholism, was addicted to pornography, and had suffered abuse from his own father. His life seemed caught in a cycle of pain and rejection. But everything began to change when he encountered Christ.

Despite facing heavy persecution from his family for his newfound faith, Tien remained steadfast. His family rejected him and eventually kicked him out of their home. However, through God’s grace, Tien continued to press on in faith, determined not to give up.

In a bold act of obedience, he enrolled in our Bible classes, where he began experiencing the power of God’s deliverance. Through these lessons and the prayers of Pastor David To, Tien was freed from his addictions, and even more miraculously, his heart began to heal from the deep wounds of rejection.
As he grew stronger in his faith, Tien felt led to reach out to his estranged parents. Slowly but surely, the Lord began to soften their hearts. Eventually, they not only accepted him back but also came to respect his faith. Tien’s relationship with his father, once broken, was now being restored by God’s grace.

But the story didn’t end there. With a heart now full of God’s love, Tien began ministering to others who were in similar situations. One man in particular, who was deeply broken, rejected by his own family, and contemplating suicide, came across Tien. Through Tien’s care and the message of Christ, the man found hope and surrendered his life to Jesus.

Today, Tien is a living testimony of God’s transformative power. He is actively involved in ministry and has recently been promoted to one of our staff members, entrusted with teaching the Word of God and reaching out to those in need.
