12 Biblical life principles

Obey God and leave all the consequences to Him.

Peter and the apostles answered,

“We must obey God rather than men.” —Acts 5:29

⦁ Our intimacy with God determines the impact of our lives.
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; my soul thirsts for You . . . for You have been my help. —Psalm 63:1, 8

⦁ God’s Word is an immovable anchor in times of storm.
This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and one which enters within the veil.—Hebrews 6:19-20

⦁ Trusting God means looking beyond what we can see to what God sees.
This day the Lord will deliver you up into my hands, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. —1 Samuel 17:46-47

⦁ God assumes full responsibility for our needs when we obey Him.
My God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:19

⦁ Peace with God is the fruit of oneness with God.
Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. . . . Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. —John 14:1, 27

⦁ The dark moments of our life will last only so long as is necessary for God to accomplish His purpose in us.
Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. —James 1:2-4

⦁ Fight all your battles on your knees and you win every time.
Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane . . . He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed. —Matthew 26:36, 39

⦁ Brokenness is God’s requirement for maximum usefulness.
He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” —2 Corinthians 12:9

⦁ Disappointments are inevitable, discouragement is a choice.
Why are you in despair, O my soul? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him for the help of His presence. —Psalm 42:5

⦁ Listening to God is essential to walking with God.
Prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. —James 1:22

⦁ God acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

From days of old they have not heard or perceived by ear, nor has the eye seen a God besides You, who acts in behalf of the one who waits for Him. —Isaiah 64:4

These principles serve as spiritual anchors to guide believers in every aspect of life, grounding them in faith, obedience, and trust in God.
